Ingredients
- ½ cup olive oil
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- ¼ cup slivered almonds
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- Non-stick spray
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine olive oil, sugar, applesauce, and vanilla. Add oats, slivered almonds, baking powder, and cinnamon, and mix until well-combined.
- Spray a 9″square baking pan with cooking spray.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until inside is cooked through and edges are browned. It’s ready when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and cut into squares.
