Ingredients

  • 2 cups of canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. tahini
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. cumin
  • ½ tsp. paprika

Directions

  • Place chickpeas, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and water in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
  • Stir in tahini, salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika. Continue to blend.
  • Serve with warm pita.
